PROGRAM ASSISTANT

The Purchase Area Development District is seeking a qualified individual for the temporary full-time position of Program Assistant to work with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs.

Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting customers, data management, preparing various reports, and performing various tasks within the department for overall smooth operation of the office.

Skills needed include excellent verbal and written communications, self-direction, efficiency, ability to relate to customers and other professionals.  Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.  A high school diploma is required, associate degree preferred. This grant funded position will be located in Murray, Kentucky.

PART-TIME MARSHALL COUNTY SENIOR CENTER DIRECTOR

The Purchase Area Development District (PADD) is seeking a qualified individual for the part-time position of Marshall County Senior Center Director.  This position is primarily responsible for all requirements of the Federal Title IIIB and Title IIID programming facilitated in Marshall County.

Responsibilities include: Coordinate Title IIIB Health Promotion sessions and provide Telephone Reassurance calls; provide Title IIID Evidence Based Programs; determine eligibility for participation; provide all documentation and reporting required; submit invoices, etc.  Other duties include arranging educational opportunities, performing outreach activities, and overall aging program management support.

Skills required include excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work well with diverse populations, initiative and self-direction, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, experience in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of senior and/or disability services. 

Applicant must have a minimum of a High School Diploma and experience working with those 60 years of age and older.  Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

BUDGET AND CONTRACTS MANAGER

The Purchase Area Development District (PADD) is seeking an individual to work within the Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living (AAAIL) Program as a budget and contracts manager.  The individual is responsible for financial functions including invoicing, subcontractor audit reviews, budget and expense reports and financial support to program staff.  

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Accounting, or other related fields.  

Skills needed include experience in financial management, proficiency with MS Office, excellent verbal and written communication, self-direction and excellent organizational skills, efficiency and attention to detail, and the ability to relate appropriately to other professionals.
